Cookie Policy

Last updated: February 2026

The short version: we use almost no cookies. Here's the full picture.

What's a cookie

A cookie is a small text file stored in your browser. Some are essential for a site to work. Others are used to track you across the web, build advertising profiles, and generally make the internet worse. We use neither.

Cookies we use

Cookie Purpose Type Duration
cookie-ok Remembers that you dismissed our cookie notice, so it doesn't show again Functional Persistent (localStorage)
Netlify session Used by Netlify to process form submissions. Set only when you submit the mailing list form. Functional Session

Cookies we don't use

We don't use Google Analytics, Facebook Pixel, or any other third-party tracking cookies. Our analytics are provided by Plausible Analytics, which is privacy-first, uses no cookies, collects no personal data, and is fully compliant with GDPR, PECR, and CCPA.

Your choices

You can clear cookies and localStorage at any time through your browser settings. This won't affect your ability to use the site — the cookie notice will reappear, which is a minor inconvenience and also fine.

If you're an active subscriber using Stripe's payment portal, Stripe may set their own cookies when you access that portal. See Stripe's privacy policy for details.

UK PECR compliance

Under the UK Privacy and Electronic Communications Regulations (PECR), we are required to obtain consent before setting non-essential cookies. We have designed this site to require no consent — the only cookies set are strictly functional and necessary for features you explicitly use.
